Open front or button-down
An open front cardigan is a layer you throw on. The chunky cable, fuzzy and oversized open front styles here reach the hip or below and wear like a light coat. The button-down cardigans are cropped or hip length and can be worn closed as a top, which is how the lace trim and ruffle styles look best.
